Location: Offsite (Client based in Barcelona, Spain)

Duration: 220 days, renewable up to 3 years

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer (PBIDEV) to join a public sector client based in Barcelona. This role is fully offsite, offering the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to key Power BI projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Models & Reports Development: Build data models and interactive reports using Power BI, including tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.

  • Data Integration: Integrate data using SQL and Power Query (M).

  • Complex Calculations & Aggregations: Utilize DAX to perform complex calculations and aggregations.

  • Row-Level Security & Governance: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), compliance measures, and governance controls in Power BI solutions.

  • CI/CD Power BI Projects: Set up and manage CI/CD Power BI projects using Azure DevOps.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and reliability of deployed Power BI solutions and apply necessary adjustments.

  • User Documentation & Training: Provide documentation and training for end users to ensure proper use of Power BI solutions.

Requisitos

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field.

  • 5 years of experience in building data models and reports using Power BI, including tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.

  • 5 years of experience in integrating data using SQL and Power Query (M).

  • 5 years of experience in utilizing DAX to perform complex calculations and aggregations.

  • 5 years of experience in implementing Row-Level Security (RLS), compliance measures, and governance controls.

  • 4 years of experience in setting up and managing CI/CD Power BI projects using Azure DevOps.

  • 4 years of experience in monitoring the performance and reliability of deployed Power BI solutions and applying necessary adjustments.

  • 3 years of experience in providing documentation and training for end users.

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Optional Requirements:

  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification is highly desirable.
