We want you to join our team in Warsaw (hybrid) as a Monitoring Engineer, working in an international public-sector IT environment.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SCOM and other infrastructure monitoring systems.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure across different operating systems, applications, services and devices.
  • Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts.
  • Troubleshoot monitoring-related incidents and performance issues.
  • Deploy, upgrade and patch Microsoft SCOM and other monitoring solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning, tuning and optimisation of monitoring infrastructure.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.
  • Provide 2nd-line support and coordinate with 3rd-line support teams.
  • Participate in technical coordination and project meetings.

 

Requirements

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional IT experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Hands-on experience administering complex monitoring systems, including containerised environments and cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SCOM.
  • Experience with Dynatrace monitoring.
  • Experience with MP Studio and SquaredUp dashboards.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting on Windows Server.
  • Hands-on administration experience with Windows and Linux servers.
  • Experience administering virtual infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration and release management processes.
  • Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
