We are looking for a Lead Cloud & Software Factory Architect to join our team in Warsaw and contribute to a strategic EU Institutions project.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

  • Provide expert consultation in software engineering and architecture.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for complex software initiatives.
  • Design and improve software development lifecycle processes.
  • Own and evolve the engineering vision across the Software Factory.
  • Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of architectures across the enterprise.
  • Review end-to-end software solution architectures for complex projects.
  • Support technical decision-making and assess architectural risks.
  • Mentor senior engineers, development leads, technical leaders, and architects.

Requirements

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • At least 8 years of relevant IT experience.
  • At least 5 years in a similar architecture or technical leadership role.
  • A Master’s degree in a related field.
  • B2 English level or higher.

 

  • At least 2 certifications among:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent
  • Red Hat® Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent

 

Specific requirements:

  • Strong experience in software architecture for complex, distributed systems.
  • Proven background designing enterprise-scale and cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on development experience with technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Strong DevSecOps knowledge, including CI/CD strategy, platform design, containers, orchestration, and platform engineering.
  • Experience influencing teams without direct authority.
  • The ability to define and communicate architecture vision and technical strategy.
  • Strong documentation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of architecture styles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
  • Experience modelling systems in ArchiMate notation.
  • Ability to evaluate technical risk and make high-impact architecture decisions.
  • Experience mentoring senior technical profiles and helping teams raise engineering standards.
