We are on the lookout for a Information Systems Testing Specialist to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Brussels in an On site position.

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.2 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for EC and non EC entities, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Below are the details of your role and requirements. 

 

Your role:

  • Define and develop test plans, cases, and scenarios for complex applications. 
  • Execute and coordinate comprehensive testing activities, including automated tests. 
  • Maintain and develop test scripts and test data, ensuring quality and reliability. 
  • Report and document test results and defects clearly and promptly. 
  • Assist in deployment and configuration of testing environments and tools.

Requirements

Who we think you are:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of testing tools (Selenium, Soap UI, NeoLoad). 
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. 
  • Strong understanding of development environments and relational databases. 
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top Ten and web application security practices. 
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and PM² project management. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 

 

Certifications (At least one mandatory) 

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) 
  • Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) 
  • Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP) 
  • Certified Scrum Master
