We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer Specialist to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Luxembourg in an On-site position.

Below are the details of your role and requirements. 

  

Your role:

Knowledge Transfer Facilitation

  • Coordinate and document the handover of business processes, requirements, and domain knowledge.
  • Ensure all documentation (e.g., process flows, user stories, specs) is current and accessible.
  • Promote consistent documentation standards and quality.
  • Support process setup or refinement for the incoming team.
  • Review and clarify existing requirements for better understanding.
  • Help new consultants grasp the business context of initiatives.
  • Identify and address transition risks (e.g., missing knowledge, unclear expectations).
  • Track transition progress and escalate issues when needed.

Business Analysis

  • Capture detailed user stories with input from EIB group business SMEs.
  • Prepare user stories for implementation including field-level validations, business rules, interfaces, and error handling, and define clear acceptance criteria,
  • Document and update business processes, models, and rules.
  • Validate delivered features against business needs.
  • Support test scenario definition and review results.

Software Architecture / Development

  • Absorb Knowledge: Learn the existing system architecture, codebase, tools, and development practices.
  • Review Documentation: Validate existing technical documentation and flag any gaps or outdated content.
  • Raise Issues: Proactively highlight blockers to knowledge transfer (e.g., missing info, unclear logic, inaccessible systems).
  • Ensure Continuity: Maintain coding standards, version control practices, and agile routines to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Identify Gaps: Detect missing logic, undocumented features, or technical debt that could impact future development.
  • Support Team Onboarding: Share acquired knowledge with peers and help ramp up the rest of the team.
  • Engage in Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to stay aligned.
  • Collaborate with Analysts & SMEs: Clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure technical feasibility of user stories.
  • Implement the functionalities required to support new process and workflow for counterparty management

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience & Background

    • Minimum 5 years of experience working with the Pega platform.

    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders.

  • Required Certifications

    • Lead System Architect (LSA) – PEGA Certified (mandatory).

    • Senior System Architect (SSA) – PEGA Certified.

  • Technical Expertise

    • Hands-on experience with Pega versions 8.8 and above.

    • Strong background in case management, decisioning, integrations (REST/SOAP), and UI/UX within Pega.

    • Knowledge of event-driven architecture in Pega.

    • Experience working with API Gateway and Kafka (or similar real-time data streaming platforms).

    • Familiarity with Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC).

    • Experience using Pega Deployment Manager (PDM).

    • Exposure to Pega CLM KYC module (a strong plus).

  • Pega Best Practices & Methodology

    • Ensuring guardrails compliance.

    • Designing reusable and modular solutions.

    • Performance tuning and optimization.

    • Implementing and/or using DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, quality, and security checks).

  • Soft Skills

    • Ability to engage with both developers and business partners to drive target outcomes.

    • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
